• Reading and interpreting engineers’ and client drawings to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project requirements.
• Generating accurate and detailed 3D models using Tekla Structures, and subsequently creating General Arrangements (GAs) based on these models.
• Detailing connections and producing fabrication drawings, showcasing a strong understanding of structural connections and their impact on fabrication and construction.
• Working within specified programme dates with minimal supervision, ensuring efficient task management to meet project milestones.
• Corresponding directly with engineers, clients, suppliers, as well as site and workshop teams as required, responding promptly to queries and facilitating effective communication.

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in a similar role.
• Competency in generation of 3D models.

• Erecting and installing structural steelwork within live construction environments

• Minimum 2 years’ proven steel erecting experience on large industrial projects, background in heavy structural steel required.
• Blue (NVQ Level 2) CSCS Steel Erectors Card (essential) or valid CCNSG card
• IPAF 3a/3b (essential), 1b (advantageous) Pal + (advantageous)
• Slinger/Signaller certification (desirable)
• Working at Heights competency
• Ability to provide two recent, project-specific references
• Full UK driving licence (unless travelling with an established squad/gang)
• Must pass Drugs & Alcohol testing at induction and periodically

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Foreman or Chargehand in steel erection on large industrial projects, background in heavy structural steel required.
