We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to oversee, supervise, and manage the operations of the Finance and Administration Department to maintain and produce accurate and timely financial information to support a growing and dynamic business. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will vary depending on the needs of the business. You will be required to take a deep dive into the financial processes across the business to ensure internal controls procedures are fit for purposes, well documented, and adhered to.
The occupant should be a self-starter, who is capable of managing internal and external deadlines. The person in this role should be methodical, thorough, enjoy challenging situations and have the persistence to see a job through to conclusion. Getting things right, attention to detail, ensuring quality and standards are met and reducing error to a minimum are important factors in this position.
- Extract and analyse project data and compare actuals to tender values
- Monitor and analyse company costs flagging adverse trends
- Provide clear and concise information
- Provide analysis on a timely basis
- Support CFO, Financial Controller and Commercial Manager with provision of project data
- Assist in the development of efficient ways to collate and report business MI
- Analytical and reporting skills
- High level of Excel expertise
- Familiarity with Sage accounts and PowerBI an advantage but not essential
- Highly organised with an exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage their own projects and allocate their time according to business objectives.
- Self-motivated, a quick learner who demonstrates initiative; willing to contribute to the ongoing development of the business.

With a secure order book through to end of 2027, we are delivering some of the most exciting and high-profile projects in the industry, including Stadia, Arena’s, Power Stations, Data Centres and major commercial developments across the UK, with opportunities to work in mainland Europe also.
- Erecting and installing structural steelwork within live construction environments
- Reading and working from technical drawings
- Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards
- Collaborating with site supervisors, other squads and other trades to meet project deadlines
- Foremen/Chargehand: supervising squads, planning work sequences, and liaising with Site management to deliver work safely, on time, and to specification
- Minimum 2 years’ proven steel erecting experience on large industrial projects, background in heavy structural steel required.
- Blue (NVQ Level 2) CSCS Steel Erectors Card (essential) or valid CCNSG card
- IPAF 3a/3b (essential), 1b (advantageous) Pal + (advantageous)
- Slinger/Signaller certification (desirable)
- Working at Heights competency
- Ability to provide two recent, project-specific references
- Full UK driving licence (unless travelling with an established squad/gang)
- Must pass Drugs & Alcohol testing at induction and periodically
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Foreman or Chargehand in steel erection on large industrial projects, background in heavy structural steel required.
- Blue CSCS Card NVQ Level 2 (minimum), NVQ Level 3 Gold Card (desirable)
- SSSTS (required)
- CITB/CPCS Crane Supervisor qualification – (required)
- CPCS Fork truck (desirable)
- First Aid at work (desirable)
- Strong leadership, planning, and coordination skills with proven ability to run squads effectively

Steel Erector
Work 10-hour shifts with overtime opportunities (typically a 5-day week, with weekends available).
Work as a team to assemble steel structures across Scotland and the UK.
Operate MEWPs.
Minimum 2 years of steel erecting experience.
Blue CSCS Erectors Card (Gold preferred).
CPCS/IPAF MEWP operators’ qualification.
Foremen should also possess a CPCS Crane Supervisor qualification and a minimum SSSTS.
Commitment to long-term projects.
Preferably hold a valid driving license.
This position requires right to work across the UK.
PAYE Employment with Higher rates for Foremen.
